I'm a school teacher, married to a school teacher, raised by school teachers. I have a Masters degree, so when it comes to teaching you how to do something, I have 34 years experience in the public school classroom.

I found Pilates 12 years ago with my Mother. We took our first class together. I pursued my certifications when, 5 years ago, my Mother suggested I apply at our local Wellness center, as they were hiring a fitness instructor. I applied, got the job, two weeks later I got certified to teach Mat Pilates.

I have taught mixed level Mat Pilates group classes for the past 5 years at two different Wellness Centers. I teach three classes a week and have an average attendance of 3 - 5 participants at each class. I have also taught several group Zoom Mat Pilates classes.

I participated in Pilates in Port Elizabeth's charity drive. I taught a free Zoom class to student in S. Africa and the proceeds went to Gift of the Givers to help fight the covid-19 pandemic.

I have also had the pleasure to teach Pilates to 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th grade summer school students.
