In this class we will explore the meaning of a phrase Strength Training for Lifelong Health.
We will discuss:
- Defining safe and productive exercise.
- Importance of strength training for everyone over 30 years of age.
- Making argument that strength training is the most effective 'preventative medicine' there is.
- Exploring what it takes to be able to do it sustainably lifelong.
- Looking into time commitment, and that fact that it may only take 30 minutes once week, if done correctly.
- Discussing safety aspects.
- Looking into scientific studies and the effectiveness of NET method.
- Looking into the physiological, mental and phycological benefits of the NET method and proper strength training in general.
We will discuss:
